Hibiscus rosa-sinesis, commonly know as Queen of the Tropics, is coveted for its stunning beauty by plant enthusiasts around the globe. The Latin name rosa-sinensis means China Rose. This cultivar of hibiscus can be hybridized to produce the greatest number of variations in color and shape, resulting in both single and double blooms. Here at Dupont Nursery, we have developed a program of hybridization to deliver the finest quality of plants to our customers. All of our cuttings are grown on their own roots in our propagation greenhouse and then transplanted to four inch pots where they are nursed into healthy, developed plants. From this stage, they are carefully packed and delivered to your door, ready for transplanting into larger pots.
